A true love of nature is clearly evident in this Edgefield, South Carolina
native´s work. Living along the intracoastal waterway has inspired and
influenced her art. Educated at the University of South Carolina, Bledsoe
has had a love affair with the Carolinas and the Lowcountry for many years.
The demand for Bledsoe´s work has been tremendous with collectors across the
country often acquiring multiple pieces. She is an award-winning artist who
has hosted several successful solo shows.
Pamela Bledsoe
Pamela´s art evokes a sense of serenity and stillness. Glorious sunsets,
beach scenes, and infinite stretches of marshes and waterways are portrayed
in an impressionistic style reminiscent of Monet. Pamela also loves
to create colorful renditions of her favorite flowers.
Numerous time-consuming layers and many different techniques are used
to produce originals ranging from photo-realism to expressionistic
and contemporary.
Pamela´s passion for painting and thirst for knowledge have lead her to many
wonderful teachers and workshops. However, the disciplined hours spent at
her easel have honed her skills and made her the artist she is today.
Possessing a strong belief that one should always give back, she contributes
original art to such organizations as the American Heart Association,
Brookgreen Gardens, and the Ronald McDonald House. In Pamela's words, "Every
painting I do is a spiritual and emotional process. The greatest compliment
I can hear is that someone feels my painting." |
